Happy Sunday flist. How are you all?

This week has been full of bandom drama and Pete Wentz being, well, Pete Wentz. I love him and I love FOB and I'm not worried, mostly because I'd actually rather they called it quits than did something they didn't want do. I really do think they'll be just fine though.

It actually made me think about bandom and how there's not actually much going on at the moment and how I'm spending all my free time reading Psych and Sherlock Holmes fic, and how I'm drifting that way, fandom-wise.

TV-wise this week has been awesome. I have officially semi given-up on How I Met Your Mother. Its place in my heart has been taken up by Community and this week's episode of that made my heart fill with glee. Of course Lost also started its last season and wow, I was so impressed with it. I'll be sad to see it go. I have theory, but it's almost bound to be wrong so I'm not going to bother writing it down.

Five weeks today I will be in San Francisco. We've now bought everything we need to before we go. I bought tickets for LOVE in Las Vegas and ditchwitchbitch bought our Disneyland tickets. I'm going to have a pineapple smoothie in Santa Barbara like the true fangirly geek I am.

Also, I upgraded my phone when I renewed my contract and I'm getting a Blackberry Curve. It should be arriving tomorrow. I'm so excited!

I'm heading home after a fun weekend with feelallhigh. We went to Sunderland Air Show yesterday, and saw the Red Arrows, bought some lovely new clothes and spent the evening drinking Pimms. I have a little bit of sunburn, but nothing too bad or painful.

Right now I'm on the train. Luckily I'm caught up with my flist so I don't have to do much when I get home. I've seen lovely photos of Brendon and Spencer, plotted another fic (like I'm ever going to write any of them) and tried not to be upset at a number of stupid things (real life ad fandom) that I need to just get over.

I feel like starting a community for only happy bandom stuff, no matter how unbelievable.

Ryan talking about the break up. After many, many times of reading, I've found some stuff to take comfort in. I do believe things will work out between all of them, and Pete. It has only been a week remember. They were very mature about the whole thing really. Good for them.

Ryan talking about the drugs. Now, it doesn't really matter what he says does it? Because I suspect the majority of people are going to say Yeah, right. Sure, they weren't yours whether they were or not. The fact is no one knows the truth unless they were in that room, so while I'm not being really naive about this, (people in bands do drugs, deal with it,) I do think it's plausible. Because it's Ryan Ross and he IS that faily.

Just to prove I do think about things that aren't bandom.

I'm going to see Harry Potter on Wednesday. \o/ I'm so excited. I'm hoping I'll get inspiration for my Harry Potter fic. I'm spending my weekend watching all the films so that I'm prepared. Prisoner of Azkaban is still my favourite. I love everything about it.

I also watched Slumdog Millionaire this morning. I had not idea what it was actually about going in, but I thought it was a brilliant film. First rate. :D

Yesterday I spent a lovely few hours with my friend Ishola and her baby son Sean who is now six months and will not stop moving. He's adorable. ♥

I ordered an iPod on Friday. A proper iPod 120GB iPod Classic. It should arrive tomorrow or Tuesday. Eeeeee!

And uh, I'm writing.

So uh, this sounds like musical differences to me.

By midnight, my personal target for my big bang fic is supposed to be 11500 words, just to keep me on track. But as I haven't touched it for almost three weeks it's unlikely that that is going to happen. Instead of working on it (3 weeks! I'm actually scared to look at it!) I'm looking at all the stuff I started and didn't finish. Most of it is Panic stuff, with one Pete/Patrick that I wanted to read so badly but don't think I'm good enough to pull it off.

So beneath the cut is a lot of fic that will probably never see the light of day. Or at least not for a good while.
