I am exhausted this week (again). Luckily there's another bank holiday coming up so I get an extra day to do nothing and hopefully catch up on some sleep.

In TV-land there were a couple more season finales after Lost. ( No spoilers, just opinions )

Now I have to go to work, which would suck more if these photos hadn't been on my flist this morning. Spoilery for Season 5 of Psych (unless I've talked to you about it in an over-excited manner already). ( My thoughts ) ♥ Is it July 14th yet?

Half way through the week and I'm feeling slightly better about things.

We've made more decisions about moving and decided to do the sensible thing and wait a month so we can actually afford it. It'll be around bonus time for me so I'll have extra money and I'm doing lots of overtime lately, so hopefully things will work out now.

Work is still crazy, but I'm just doing the best I can. At least I'm getting paid to stay late and finish things. I could do with a day in bed though. Roll on Sunday.

This week's Lost was much better than last week's. I can't believe there's only 2 episodes to go (1 more week!) but it feels like everything is being wrapped up and I'm very excited for the finale.

Now I just have to finish Glee... which is awesome! NPH ftw! \o/

On a politics front (or possibly an aside) I have decided not to worry about anything. This week I've been watching my Drop the Dead Donkey dvds, and you know what was happening in the world 20 years ago? War in Iraq, economy in recession, Tory fear over Europe, Labour in meltdown, executive pay/bonuses... So I predict that by 2017 there'll be a new wave of Cool Britannia (only with a better name hopefully), a couple of big British bands, a couple of big British films, booming economy and a left-wing government that wants to improve public services.

What have I been doing lately?

Well Friday I had a fabulous day off work and Monday was a bank holiday; I haven't had a weekend to myself in months so it was nice to have a four day weekend to just relax and enjoy myself. I did a lot of catching up with TV and I went to the cinema. (Reviews below).

Unfortunately though, last night at 4am the fire alarm went off. There was no fire, but it took 7 hours for the engineer to come and fix it. We were told by the management company we couldn't turn off the sounder without being fined, so we had to stay awake with the noise blaring until 11am. Needless to say, I couldn't go to work. I'm exhausted and my head is still aching. I'm going to bed as soon as I can.

BEST. EPISODE. EVER.

Kurt's dad is now allowed to join The Awesome Parents Club. So far the members are Sandy Cohen (The OC), Keith Mars (Veronica Mars) and Kitty Foreman (That 70s Show).

After two days and nights of no sleep, I finally managed to catch up and am beginning to feel better. I'm not 100% but chicken soup and The West Wing seem to help a lot. Especially Amy Adams in The West Wing. ♥

On Monday I realised what my perfect job would be and started looking for evening classes. I want to make cakes. Speciality cakes. I love baking, it calms me down, and I would love to be able to make a career out of it. So far I can't find any classes to fit around work, so my plan is just to start practising on my own and see if I can do it. I don't know whether I'll be able to do it but I do know I want to try.

Um, I've enjoyed all my TV shows this week. ( Possible spoilers for How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Gossip Girl, Greek, FlashForward and Glee )

And finally, this just makes me happy.
