wednesday_whimsyBarney and Robin ♥ I'm glad they made up for the sucky season finale last year. I'm pleased that they're staying true to the characters while moving them on. I've always been impressed by the way HIMYM supports character advancement, while maintaining believability. Just like normal people. Unlike Friends (I can't help comparing because e4 is currently comparing the two) where the characters all became caricatures of the themselves, everyone in HIMYM has moved on from the first season and instead of merely putting more emphasis on certain facets of their characters (the funny one, the obsessive one, the slutty one, the crazy one) they've made everyone relatable. I love Barney and Robin together. I have ever since the first season. I hope for great things to come from this and I have faith that they will. The writers haven't let me down yet. (Ignoring the sucky season finale.)
Ted, I hope you're going to get your girl this year. Not that I want the show to end, but I think it could after this season and as long as the story is told well then I'm happy for it to. I hate it when they drag things on too long. HIMYM is still fresh and funny. I want it to go out on a high.
Oh Sheldon. I couldn't love you more. ♥ The scene with Penny trying to comfort him was brilliant. I knew he wouldn't have seen Star Wars too, but I was pleased she tried to make him understand. And ahahahah, the end. I understand that Penny and Leonard will end up together eventually, but I'm glad they did this. Them sleeping together adds a whole new dimension. At least it'll be a little more interesting than the standard will-they-won't-they? They will. Now what?
Blair! Poor thing. I feel bad for her. I don't understand why anyone would ever trust Georgina. Vanessa and Dan are idiots. I suppose you're supposed to think they're right and Blair is wrong, but I just see a lonely girl who needs more friends. Shame on you holier than thou types. Serena, was a bitch. *sigh* Round and round in circles. Blah, blah, blah. At least Chuck and Blair are adorable.
