For the first 10 commenters (limit 1 per customer, cheeky little monkies) leaving me a starting sentence, I will write you a (short) fic. You can also provide me the pairing you'd like (if you want one).
Anything you know I can write (or think I probably could). Check out my user info for fandoms.

Date: 2009-08-01 10:33 am (UTC)Pete could hear Joe moving around up front. This whole arrangement was the worst idea ever. He reached for his phone and sent Patrick a message.
This is all your fault. I hate you.
The reply was so fast, Pete thought Patrick must have been waiting for his text.
Go and talk to him you idiot.
Like Patrick even knew what he was talking about.
His phone beeped again.
I know what I'm talking about.
Pete really hated it when Patrick did that. He crawled off the bed and reached for the door handle. It took several deep breaths before he found the courage to open the door.
"Hey," Joe said, with a forced lightness when Pete finally ventured into the lounge. "Can't sleep?"
Pete shook his head.
"Me neither. You want a beer?"
Pete nodded and took the bottle that was offered. Joe walked back to the sofa and picked up the remote. "You want to watch something?"
"Sure," Pete murmured, but he didn't sit down. It couldn't be this easy to go back to being friends. Not after everything that had happened between them.
Joe sighed. "I'm not going to bite. We're going to have to live like this. Come on. Sit down."
Pete looked at Joe, curled up in the corner of the sofa. His eyes were sad and his face was red. He looked like Pete felt.
"What are we watching?" Pete asked, mimicking Joe's easy tone as he sat down beside him.

Date: 2009-08-18 09:55 pm (UTC)"What are you watching?" Jared asked as he collapsed down beside Jensen on the sofa. He yawned, wide and long, grabbing the remote from Jensen's hand.
"Infomercial," Jensen replied and then did a double-take when Jared laughed softly beside him.
"That's porn man," He turned up the sound and the room was filled with a cacophony of moaning. "And bad porn at that. Seriously, what are you watching?"
Jensen shrugged. "I've been here all night. I thought it was an infomercial."
Jared laughed again, louder this time. "About sturdy handcuffs for light to medium S&M?"
"Jared, why are you awake?"
"I don't know. Why are you awake?"
"I can't sleep."
"And it's really starting to show," Jared said around another yawn. "You look like shit."
"Thank you."
"No problem." Jared looked back at the TV and snorted. "We could watch a movie. Or oh, hey..."
"No."
"Jensen."
"I said no."
Jared ignored him. He stood quickly and crossed to the TV in two long steps. Jensen would have cursed him if he'd had any energy at all. He watched as Jared slid the disk into the DVD player and groaned.
"I'm going to hurt you, just as soon as I can move."
Jared nodded and sat back down. His head ended up near Jensen's shoulder when he curled up as best he could on the other end of the sofa.
"Shhhh, Blair is talking."

Date: 2009-08-18 10:19 pm (UTC)"Really?" Brendon said, failing to keep the irritation out of his voice. "We can go back now? Gee, thanks Ryan."
Ryan rolled his eyes and started to trudge back along the trail to the cabin. "You said you wanted to go for a walk."
Brendon was stomping along behind him, muttering under his breath. "This wasn't a walk Ryan. This was a hike. Do you know how long its been since I ate?"
"About three hours," Ryan replied with a shake of his head. Brendon could be such a ridiculous drama queen sometimes, especially when it came to food. "You're not going to starve."
"I use a lot of energy. I burn calories very quickly. I need to keep my blood sugar up."
Ryan tried to keep the amusement out of his voice when he replied. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
"No idea," Brendon said and Ryan could tell he was grinning. Luckily Brendon's bad moods never lasted long. "So uh, it's not going to take us four hours to get back is it?" he asked. "Because it's raining pretty hard now."
It was in fact, practically torrential. The trees were blocking the worst of it, but the ground was quickly becoming a mudslide and Brendon didn't have a hat.
"We were walking in a circle," Ryan told him. "It shouldn't be far."
Brendon started muttering again and the let out a decidedly feminine shriek as he slipped and fell forward onto Ryan, who only just managed to keep them both standing. Ryan turned and grabbed Brendon's hand to support him.
"Hey. You okay?"
Brendon nodded but he was shivering and his teeth were chattering a little. Ryan looked around for some shelter and pulled them quickly under one of the more densely covered trees. He dropped his pack on the ground and started to rub Brendon's bare arms.
"I told you to wear more than a t-shirt."
"You also t-t-told me it was a walk," Brendon stammered out, leaning his forehead on Ryan's shoulder. "Not a hike."
"It wasn't a hike!"
"You owe me for today. You owe me big, Ryan Ross."
Ryan smiled against Brendon's hair. He had his arms wrapped around him. Purely to preserve body heat, of course.
"What do I owe you?"
"I don't know," Brendon answered. The rain started to calm. They'd probably make it back to the cabin in an hour. "I don't know, but I'll think of something."
