I'm home sick today. I have cold and I feel yucky. I slept all morning and then went out to get some medicine. The last two episodes of Greek also helped.
I love Greek so much. Why only 10 episodes? WHY? I want the rest of them now. *cries*
Dale and Rusty's relationship is a thing of beauty. I adore that their friendship is balanced on a fine line of tolerating each other. I love that they're both silly awkward boys and have to go the longest way round to giving each other a hug. ♥
I felt bad for everyone in the end, except Frannie, (though I did like that her ambition in life was to be Meredith from Grey's Anatomy). I need more damn it! The twist with Jen K was nice and I loved that Alan Ruck and Charisma Carpenter both showed up. It made my geeky little heart light up with joy. I may have clapped.
Last night I met up with my old boss and we went for food and then to see Atonement which was fantastic.
I wish I hadn't read about it on Wikipedia before I went to see it because it did lessen the emotional impact of the ending. Vic kept looking at me going "What? WHAT?!" and I just nodded because I knew what was coming. *sigh* It goes to show that I am right to hate spoilers.
Anyway, it was beautifully acted and filmed. Harriet Walter made me ridiculously happy. Maybe I'll watch my Lord Peter Wimsey dvds again. I have a great love of the way people talked and behaved in the 20s/30s/40s. It's possibly why I love Jeeves & Wooster and DLS so much. Everything's just a little bit more interesting.
Tomorrow I have to go to work no matter how ill I am to pass eveything over to my boss, because I'm off next week. I'm so excited. 9 whole days of freedom!
