Work has been super busy and stressful lately, but other things have made up for it.
1. Last weekend I went home to see my family for my mum's birthday and had a lovely weekend. I took the rabbits too, who were as good as gold, even in the face of terribly rude taxi drivers and train guards.
2. I paid off a huge chunk of my credit card bill and I'm doing more overtime this month so hopefully it can be reduced again in a couple of weeks.
3. I have been writing quite a lot. I have a couple of things on the go that I'd like to get finished, and for the first time in a while I feel like it might happen.
4. I won £10 today at bingo! I've never been before and it was actually an enjoyable couple of hours. I was terrified of shouting at first, but if you've won, you've won. ;)
5. I finally reached my healthy weight at WeightWatchers! I'm so happy and excited. I still want to lose another 7lbs for m own sake, but knowing I'm at a healthy weight and that I've achieved something good for myself is such a great feeling. I'm totally motivated to continue now and stay healthy.

3. Yay for writing! I have been writing not at all. For...a long time.
4. Awesome! I am only good at bingo on Wii Party, sadly. I always beat Leo and he gets mad.
5. That is super amazing, I am so happy for you. ♥

And how are you?

Date: 2011-03-15 06:58 am (UTC)Speaking of photos...the 750 I've taken so far. There's too much going on to really bring you up to speed, but the government separated the union busting bill out from the budget, passed that, and we had over 200,000 people downtown on Saturday. The city itself has a population of 230,000. It was insanely crowded. And by all accounts, we're nowhere near done protesting. We've now been at this over a month. The governor and the GOP legislators seriously cannot show their faces in public in Madison, or most places in this state, because everyone is so pissed off at them and protesters are going wherever they go. Small town of Washburn where Walker was Saturday? 5000 people protesting(more than twice the size of the town). Green Bay yesterday? Yep, more protesters. But they're going to DC for a fundraiser, so at least the air should clear a bit in WI for a few days. =P Twitter and Facebook have been a force to be reckoned with in this movement.
