He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me, Oops He's Dead!
01 Lassiter giving Shawn the case (and laughing at them through the two way mirror) "Make me proud."
02 Gus freaking out over the naked guy. Poor Gus. His life is so hard.
03 Lassiter has a Masters degree in Criminology. He's a smart guy.
04 Henry in the tanning salon. Shawn's utter horror at his dad being in any way different to the way he is in his head.
05 "To Lassy, on the alpine highway of life, you are my all weather tires. H&Ks, Shawn." Juliet's shipper face!
06 Shawn giving Carlton dating advice (and Carlton taking it).
07 Lassiter and Juliet's date. "Tell her she looks pretty." I like that it's a little bit awkward, but that Juliet understands and finds it amusing.
08 Shawn and Henry arguing about real men taking baths. Henry: "John Wayne, Rio Bravo. Bath." Shawn: You got anybody since the old west?
09 Lassiter interrogating Marvin and talking to the chief through the glass while Shawn waves.
10 Shawn and Jules at the end. I like how relaxed it is. It's nice that there's something there without there being anything there, really. Subtlety can work wonders.
Cloudy... Chance of Murder
01 Shawn's speech on the steps of the courthouse "Don't mess with Texas". This is my other favourite episode of season 1.
02 Gus pulling faces at the DA on TV.
PINEAPPLE
03 HORNSTOCK! I love that he shakes Shawn's fist.
04 Lassiter: Don't screw this one up. Shawn: Lassie, that really wasn't much of a put down. In fact it was somewhat inspiring. Lass! Let's roll that back.
05 Gus playing anchorman.
06 Shawn calling on Lassiter to vouch for him.
Did he just say absolutely with a little half smile? Can I get a print out of that?
07 Shawn and Hornstock making the touchdown "sign" when the guy says Jackson should have been stabbed long ago.
08 The scene between Shawn and Henry where they fight about Shawn's motorbike. A serious side to Shawn and Henry being a protective parent. ♥
09 Gus being an awesome fake lawyer in the court and the table walk/fist bump.
10 Lassiter getting Shawn's bike back for him. ♥ Shawn's confused face. I love them so much.
Game, Set... Muuurder?
01 Shawn cheating at Battleships and Gus still holding a grudge about it. I cheated at Monopoly once when I was a kid and my sister still brings it up when we play now.
02 "I looooooove somebody." Oh the touching. And the return of Juliet's shipper face!
03 Gus and his ridiculous training weekend (urgh team-building) and the sharing stick. LOL!
04 Gus's story of giving Jessica Chan an eternity ring and Shawn's utter amusement over the whole thing. "How long was eternity for the two of you?"
05 Henry and Carlton bonding over fishing and Shawn's abject horror at the whole thing in every scene.
06 Shawn showing up at Gus's training weekend. That whole scene - Shawn's fake excitement and using the word "keen".
07 Juliet doesn't have a cackle in her repertoire. ♥
08 Lassiter's amusement at Shawn's fear of raccoons. It's such a pretty, genuine smile.
09 Shawn's wrapping up of the case. I think this is my favourite. "Bludgeoner." Gus wanting to say cool, mysterious, important things and failing.
10 Lassiter finding Henry unbearable and telling Shawn he's starting to understand him better. ♥
Poker? I Barely Know Her
01 Mini!Shawn playing poker with the detectives and never losing.
02 Shawn's amusement at Henry talking him up to his friends.
03 Juliet wanting to throw a birthday party for Lassiter. ♥ I love that they're BFFs! Jules is awesome and adorable.
04 Shawn and Gus's reaching competition. Or in fact, that whole scene.
05 Juliet calling Carlton's mother and accidentally telling her he was separated from his wife. "Booker?" ♥ And then his mother immediately calling Carlton to ask for her wedding ring back.
06 Gus is BigKitty75! Shawn setting "Felicia" up on a date with Brandon.
07 Shawn: That's very Cameron Fry of you. Brandon: Cameron who? Shawn: Wow. Are we that much older than you?
08 Juliet getting so excited that Carlton told her he was allergic to mint.
09 Shawn losing $7500 at roulette. I'm more impressed that Gus didn't kill him.
10 Lassiter's birthday party. Of course Juliet invited everyone he'd busted more than once. Of course he checks up on them. Of course he has to move house now. I love this show so much.
Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast
01 The whole flashback with Henry wanting to x-ray Shawn's candy.
02 Juliet undercover. As though I needed another reason to adore Jules. She is utterly awesome.
03 Everything with Lassiter and Goochberg because she is so awful and I have no idea why anyone would think they are alike, because that's not Lassie at all. I particularly loved his bemused "He's the victim, Goochberg!"
04 Shawn and Gus running screaming from the sorority house.
PINEAPPLE
05 Their utter delight in realising they started an urban legend.
06 Gus having to pretend his cat is lost while Shawn messes about in the background.
07 Gus's rules for entering the asylum. I will not go into a room first. I will not go into a room last. There's only two of you!
08 Lassiter, Shawn and Gus all rushing to Juliet's rescue and her not needing it because she is made of win. Is it obvious yet, how much I love Jules?
09 Gus getting stuck and Shawn abandoning him, only to return later to scare the crap out of him.
10 Lassie wanting to fit in with Shawn, Gus and Juliet and giving up, only for Shawn to throw him the fortune cookie and include him anyway. See? They all love each other.
