Films

hils and I have been using the Screen Select dvd rental we're part of to watch films that we think we should have seen that we've never really got round to. The rules for these films usually stand at:

1) Neither of us has seen it and we both want to see it
2) One of us has seen it and is shocked and/or disgusted that the other has never seen it.

Hence me sitting on Sunday and watching all of Schindler's List while nursing a nasty cold. I'm glad I saw it though. I thought it was excellent.

Tonight we watched Alien because I have never seen it and the rental company sent us both that and Aliens and things should be watched in order if at all possible.

I wasn't impressed, although I'm sure I would have been scared witless 25 years ago. We did however, have an amusing evening mocking it and coming up with our own spoof version starring Orlando Bloom, Samuel L Jackson and Lindsay Lohan which would probably be the best film ever made.
