(no subject)

I'm watching the news right now, feeling all sorts of emotions. Over-riding is the feeling of pride in Gordon Brown who has been so glorious and dignified all evening. I've always thought people should have been nicer to him and have greater respect for him. I hope he can have a happy future with his family and ignore the press and political commentators who are on the whole, ridiculous and seem to know absolutely nothing about the system they are commentating on.

I have so many mixed feelings about the (almost) inevitable Conservative/Lib-Dem coalition. I can only hope it will lead to some sort of good being done for the most vulnerable people, instead of the the usual right-wing bullshit.
